Our Story — Named for the Goddess of Calm Seas

Galenée is named for Galene — the Greek goddess of calm seas. When storms raged, sailors prayed not to the god of the ocean, but to her: the stillness after. That is exactly what we make jewelry for. Not the storm — the moment it quiets.

Why we exist

India talks about hustle. It talks far less about the racing heart before the review meeting, the bitten nails in traffic, the 2 a.m. spiral. We built Galenée because we believe calm deserves objects as beautiful as ambition's — and because the tools that genuinely help (a longer exhale, a grounded touch, a small ritual) should be with you always, disguised as something you'd wear anyway.
